However, it is not ecological restoration but a tree-planting exercise, nicely done nonetheless, but please don't refer to it as ecological restoration, a practice which relies on very specific scientific protocol. Also, I think the term 'indigenous' is what was actually meant, not endemic! There are no species of trees endemic to Malta.
