In m opinion the Police Commsiioner should be responsible to the Preseident of the Republic amd that the President should have a constituionally established Council of State to advise her in the exercise of her responsibilities including those relating to the appointment of the Police Commissioner. The requirment of a two thirds majority as proposed by the PN is a step in the right direction .

The government should always make a surplus and aim to reduce the debt, fullstop. 60% of GDP is the EUs limit (red alert) before actions kick in, not anything to boast about being near the limit, nor having half of our GDP permanently in debt.
