I am stating 2 Ferries were one will acter for passengers & the other for Heavy Vehicles. These five ferries will have one of them having a yearly maintenance service, so actually there will always be four ferries taking passengers between the Islands. It's about time that instead of spending monies on useless Uptonian projects, this is the only realistic one which does not leave any negative impact on our Islands. It tell us in excruciating detail that the public debt has reached a new record but not that it is now 1.2 p.p. lower as a percentage of GDP than it was before - this even though the EU Stability Pact does not monitor absolute amounts but the percentage. The percentage is now 9.6 p.p. lower than the theeshold. By the way, to my knowledg no country in the world has managed to reduce its absolute debt - progress is deemed to have occurred when the ratio to GDP goes down. New Comment Reply Click to rate 0 0
