The very same extreme self interest encouraged and nutured by Muscat and his cohort that gave him an impression of wielding power will be playing against him. Because thats the nature of self interest as opposed to nurturing and fostering ideological propositions. Sure there will be a sizeable older generation who out of confusion and nostalgia for this very lack of ideology frame Muscat in some political pedagogical form. As a demagogue he does have some pull there but I do not see it in anyone under 50. At least not on any Mintoffian or even Fenech Adami level.
